CHRISTINE WALDER RECOMMENDS
THE NATIONAL MUSEUM OF IMMIGRATION

Hello! I’m Christine Walder, originally from Zurich. I recently joined the team at the Swiss Business Hub where I’m responsible for compliance and office management. It was my interest in innovation, technology and architecture that brought me to New York, where I had the pleasure to work in hospitality, exhibition design and communication. Discovering my passion for what I would call spatial storytelling leads me to my pick: The National Museum of Immigration on Ellis Island, designed by Belprat Partners from Zurich. The exhibition is an immersive environment that invites viewers to learn more about the narratives of the individuals who arrived in New York, their reasons for immigrating and their paths before and since their arrival in New York. Read more about this moving experience here and enjoy your visit!
