European Student Leadership Conference 2022
"What are the direct results of the fact that God is our Shepherd?" - this is how the training for small group leaders began at the "Formacion" conference, which took place in the end of July in Poland. This year the theme of the event was "Rooted". During our five days together, nearly 50 student leaders from various student movements in Europe were united in small groups and participated in training related to the foundational roots that every Christian should have, which lead to a fruitful life in God's kingdom.
The main speaker at the conference was Craig Weyrens, who was tasked with taking the participants through key moments in David's life, as well as talking about their relationship with Christ today. The event was attended by two of the student leaders of BCSU in Sofia and three more BCSU staff, who helped in various ministries.
Here is what - Katrin Petkova, one of the Bulgarian students (a second year student, majoring in Chemistry at Sofia University), shared:
“Just 5 days doesn't seem like a lot of time, but God knows how to make the most of every second. I had the opportunity to meet fellow Christian students. God used these days to show me more about the importance of service and trust and taught me that He is always in complete control. I left the conference full of enthusiasm to put into practice what I have learned and to serve at my university.”
