Our purpose simply put; loving God, serving others, doing no harm.
Hello Mt. Bethel,
How do we live our Christian life?
What is a truthful/real life?
Let’s think about it from Paul. Paul warned the Ephesians (
1 Timothy 6:6-19) to avoid the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, and in their eagerness to be rich some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pains. He exhorted them to avoid the love of the money and to pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, gentleness and to take hold of the life that really is life.
As Paul said, living a real and truthful life means you are taking action to do good, to be rich in good works, and ready to share, and to store up the real treasure for the Kingdom of heaven. This is that real life that we need to hold in this world.
You and I are called to live our lives in that real way-- a truthful life as disciples of Christ in this earth.
Let us keep fighting the good fight to live a life that is real and truthful on this earth.  Amen.

What I learned about COVID and COVID Home testing
                                                                                                   from Linda Emerson
We've gotten complacent, but Covid is still here. Residual symptoms can linger (headache, cough, brain fog, lack of energy, etc). Current CDC guidelines (Sept 2022) call for you to quarantine for days 0 through 5 if you are symptomatic.
Wear a mask for an additional 5 days.  Two negative tests before you go back in public are no longer needed.

*FREE home tests:  Every MN household can receive 12 home tests while supplies are available.
Order Your Free At-Home Rapid Tests / COVID-19 Updates and

*FREE home tests for Medicare: eligible for 8 tests per month.  I went to our pharmacy (Walgreens). They processed the order, gave me the tests at no charge, and they will bill Medicare.

*Free tests: Most insurance plans will cover Covid Home tests. Some can be billed by the pharmacy (free to you), and some you need to pay up front and submit a claim. Keep your receipt and the bar code from the package.

God Bless you all, stay safe, Linda.
