Kathy MacMannis' Validation from her sons, Aiden and Conor
Beautiful Kathy MacMannis at the Sheraton Grand Wild Horse Pass

Andy and I decided that we couldn't leave the conference until we went down the water slide at the Sheraton Grand Wild Horse Pass.   When I was at the top I told Conor and Aiden that I was riding it with them to please come along.   Look close at my picture....2 orbs!! One on my chin the other right under it.   I love those boys!!  Still having fun and making memories!

Andrea Courey's Validation from her daughter, Chloe
Andrea Courey and her beautiful daughter, Chloé

IT was my immense honour and pleasure to attend this year’s conference in Phoenix, Arizona.  Thank you to Elizabeth, Irene, Cyril, Tony and the many volunteers who created a magical time.  Thank you to all the attendees and presenters and the helpful staff at the Sheraton. It was so much, so fast!  And yet, there was time for magic and I’d like to share one such moment with you.

I was tasked with putting on a ‘sound lounge’ for three days in the same room as the kid’s slideshow.  The 35 minute slideshow ran in a loop all day, with each child in Spirit appearing for around 2 seconds per loop. Almost 900 photos of children, young and old, living their lives fully – cuddling pets, driving cars, hugging their Moms, proudly graduating.  It was so touching.  Accompanied by a soundtrack of songs that tugged at the heart, it was a beautiful addition to the conference and a place where attendees could come to connect, to cry, to smile or simply to sit and watch. It was also the room for my sound meditations which accompanied the slideshow with crystal bowls and other instruments.  It was lovely.

ON the first day, the slideshow ran on my computer and all worked well.  On the second morning, my hardware just wouldn’t cooperate. The presentation froze, there was no sound, nothing was working properly. Exasperated, I looked up at the screen.  What a moment!  My daughter Chloe was smiling down at me.  Out of almost 900 pictures, there was my lovely one. Filled with awe, I ran down the hall to fetch my partner so that he too could witness this amazing sign.  We came back into the room, she was still there on the screen and I asked her out loud, “Clo, how did you do that?”

“MOM, you make it so easy,” was her reply.  I realized my mission is simply that – to help make it easy for parents to communicate with their loved ones in Spirit.  But my work that morning wasn’t over.  Chloe basically marched me down the hall and into a conference room that was filling up.  I went straight to a family of 4, sat in front of them and recounted the amazing sign I had just received.  I kept my eyes on the teenage boy.  He was maybe 15. They smiled, said thanks and I left (feeling a little sheepish).  With the help of Alix and Michael and the push of a couple of buttons, the slideshow started to play.

THAT afternoon the family came into the sound lounge and I went to greet them. The young man looked at me and said, ‘Your story helped me a lot. Thank you.’  I smiled and thanked Chloe for being so present and for giving this young man what he needed -  validation that helped him be open to releasing doubt and receiving healing at the conference.

I have shared this story many times now and each time, my heart sings. This moment of magic is also a reminder to all of us to share what we receive.  That may just be the validation someone else needs to hear.

Thank you again to all who made this special weekend a reality.  I am already looking forward to the 2024 CONFERENCE! Our kids are too  xo

Peter Lauren's Validation with his daughter, Charlotte, through Pauline Mason
Peter's Daughter Charlotte with Chloe, Pauline Mason

Pauline Mason's reading, for me, was 100%.  Better than my own memory.  My wife was unavailable for the reading and Pauline specifically asked for the father of a daughter as if Charlotte knew that her mother would be unavailable.  The specific points were:
Need a father that would understand his daughter.
Not a young, young girl.  She's a young woman.  (Charlotte passed at 34.)
Life was tragically stopped.  She had everything planned in her life.  (She was a freelance lawyer.  Business was picking up.  The whole family was getting along really well and she had started to date a new man two years after her fiancé had passed unexpectedly.  She died suddenly and totally unexpectedly.)
Quite a bright girl.  (She completed two degrees, suma cum laude, in four years and earned a law degree, at the university of Virginia, in three years.)
Really close contact with her dad.  (We were very close.  One of her best friends said she was a daddy's girl.)
Kind, understanding way with her.  Would reach out to people if she felt they needed it.  (She was always thinking of others, friends, family and even strangers, more than herself.  She was tight for money but was always ordering things for us.)
She would get impatient that she couldn't learn quick enough.  (She was a perfectionist and never liked getting anything less than an A.)
She qualified well in most things that she touched.  (She did well in everything she tried.)
You have a picture of her in a cap and gown.  (I initially thought this was a No since she didn't go to any of her university graduations.  However, we do have such a picture from when she graduated high school.  So the reading was more accurate than my memory which would rule out telepathy.)
When you think things are happening, they're not just happening.  It's her making them happen.  (We had a lot of weird electrical effects after she passed.  Also saw birds acting strangely and looking in the window.)
Dog and tropical fish.  (She had both and really loved the dog who passed about five years before she did.)
Log cabin.  (Initially I thought No.  But the in laws had an old trailer made to look like log cabin.
Hiking.  (We did a lot of that together.  She could shoot up banks amazingly fast.)
Name Tony.  (Her cousin, Tony, was thinking of putting together some money if she wanted to move to New Zealand.)

-Love and light, Peter Lauren

Rosanne Norris' Validation from her son Lee through Jennifer Brazier
Picture of Lee by Sonia Rinaldi, The Cover of Rosanne's Book, Jennifer Brazier, Lee with a Buzz-cut and with a Red Jersey

On September 7, I treated myself to a reading with Jennifer Brazier. It was Lee’s 35th birthday, and his fifth in spirit. As Jennifer explained how she works, she used the word, “literally” but it sounded like two words, “litter-lee.” I found it interesting enough to jot it down. Later in the reading, when Jennifer asked his name, Lee playfully told her it was a short name with two of the same letters in it, but he wouldn’t tell her. Then he showed her a couple of incorrect names with big red X’s through them, and I realized he had already revealed his name to her. What fun!

Jennifer said she saw a younger male, holding a door open for others, who had gathered there. These others did not end up coming through, and it was only upon reflection I realized it was a reference to Camille Dan’s, “Gathering at the Doorway” anthology in which I have a chapter. Wow.

Next, Jennifer heard HPH and she thought, at first, it was initials, but when she saw Mark Ireland’s face, she realized it was the acronym for Helping Parents Heal. Lee told Jennifer that I was a spokesperson, and that he was proud of me. I explained to her I am an Affiliate Leader and Caring Listener for HPH. When asked how he passed, Lee said he didn’t need to talk about it as I already knew. He did end up saying it was unique, and he simply fell asleep. Lee passed from an accidental carbon monoxide poisoning, which isn’t common, although it’s the leading cause of non-drug poisonings, with approximately 500 deaths a year. Lee got a little emotional when he explained his dog passed from the poison too. He said it wasn’t supposed to happen like that. Jennifer confirmed that Buddy watched over Lee for two days until we found him. I am grateful to little Buddy and I know he is right where he wants to be.

Jennifer asked me if I had some dental issues because Lee pointed out a spot on the upper right side of my mouth. He told her it wasn’t the last molar, but the one before it. It is a problem area where I recently had some stubborn tartar the hygienist struggled to remove.

At one point, Jennifer said she saw Lee as light-skinned, then blurted, “Wait. You’re a ginger?” Then he showed her the back of his head, which looked bald to her, but I knew he was showing how he used to shave his head, which I didn’t like. Recently, Wendy Zammit had Susanne Wilson on her show to talk about signs, and I shared how I saw Lee’s face in meditation that morning, and Susanne said Lee told her to say, “buzz-cut.”

Lee showed himself wrestling with a large guy that made him look tiny. He said there was alcohol involved. I knew this college-frat house incident all too well. Lee took on an ultimate fighter in a wrestling match and ended up in a choke hold that temporarily paralyzed him, resulting in an ambulance ride to the hospital and a middle of the night phone call to us. Lee said it was the scariest thing that had ever happened to him, but it did give him some cool bragging rights.
Jennifer said Lee was bringing her to someplace cold, with ice. He showed himself playing a sport that looked to Jennifer like lacrosse, but wasn’t. Lee went to college in northern New York, close to the Canadian border and played a recreational sport similar to hockey, called Broomball, where they ran on ice. Another validating college experience!

Jennifer saw Lee wearing a red jersey, with a number on it, but she couldn’t see it. I confirmed this by showing Jennifer a picture of Lee, about ten or eleven years old, wearing his red, football jersey, with the number 34 on it. I see this number multiple times during the day, as does most of the family. Lee, like all of our kids, manages to draw our attention to things (numbers, birds, feathers, coins, etc…) to let us know they are right beside us.

Then Lee showed me writing, and my book, beLEEve. He opened it, and when he closed it, Jennifer saw a dark blue color with stars exploding. It was so spot on, I gasped. He told her that I am struggling with the second book I’m working on (true), but I will get there. He also showed a third book, as well as a children’s book. Two days after the reading, I woke up with a children’s story in my head, which I quickly wrote down.

When Jennifer said she felt warmth and saw the state of Florida, I knew Lee was referring to our upcoming family trip to Disney in November. Lee said he will be there and things will be magical. I am counting on it!

Often I wake up in the morning with a song or a line from a song in my head, which I know is a message I am to pay attention to. Jennifer noted this musical connection and the morning after the reading, I woke up to Whitney Houston’s, “When You Believe.” When I listened to the song, I knew the line, “We were moving mountains long before we knew we could,” that was the message. During the reading, Lee told Jennifer that he was moving mountains for me, and when I felt I can’t go through the mountain, he will be with me to help me climb it.

Jennifer asked me if I knew who Sandra Champlain is because she saw her face. This final piece of evidence just blew my mind. I explained that Sandra’s podcast was the first podcast I had ever listened to and in 2019, I attended the We Don’t Die conference in Boston. Sonia Rinaldi presented, and I was fairly skeptical of her work. But a few weeks later Lee convinced me when he showed up as an unknown image, at about age 11 (think little red jersey), which ultimately led me to be interviewed for the remarkable documentary, “Rinaldi,” filmed by Robert Lyon and produced by We Don’t Die Films.

Our kids are just waiting by the door with an invitation to learn and grow. And mediums like Jennifer Brazier can help you open that door!

I beLEEve

Dr. Mark Pitstick, Author of 'Soul Proof'Mark Pitstick and his book 'Soul Proof'

Evolved Souls Don’t Need Long Earthly Lives
October 2022
by Mark Pitstick, MA, DC

To all family members, I am very sorry about the death of your child’s human form.  However, I’m glad you know he / she is alive and well.  I'm also happy that you are learning how to heal and transform despite this seeming tragedy.  Six key understandings to making that shift are:

     1. Approximately 99% of who and what your child “was” is still alive in the next phase of life.  This is true no matter how they passed on.  See articles #1 and 60 at SoulProof.com for a review of the scientific and clinical evidence for this statement.  For more information, see my short and easy-to-read book The Afterlife Evidence.

     2. Only his earthly body died.  Everything else continues – the love, energy, sense of humor, memory, personality, energetic body, and much more.  Really knowing this is a key to healing.

     3. She is happy, peaceful, loving, and enthusiastic – and wants you to be that way now too. Read article #2 When a Child Changes Worlds and #93 For Bereaved Parents and Family Members to learn how you can do that.

     4. You will see him when you pass on and can enjoy a different kind of relationship now.  To learn more about how you can do this, see article #9 Visit With ‘Departed’ Loved Ones Now

     5. You can choose to transmute your grief into a spiritually transformative experience that
powerfully improves your life and blesses others.  See article #82 Journey from 'Bereaved' to 'Shining Light'

     6. You can heal and increase the gifts from his life by lovingly serving others.  Read article #84 Heal and Transform Your Suffering

After a child changes worlds, family members understandably feel much pain, sadness, anger, guilt, and other lower energy emotions.   No one could or should ever judge that.  However, many have learned to emphasize #1 – 6 above and enjoy life again.  They have journeyed – one step at a time – FROM primarily identifying as bereaved TO shining light persons.

Shining light family members have sad feeling too at times, but they choose to focus – as much as possible – on appreciation for great times and memories, realization they will see their child again, and transformation by finding the silver linings.  They resolve to make the world a better place in honor of their children by creating more meaning to their life and passing.

You can do the same.  It’s not easy and it doesn’t happen overnight, but it is possible with small steps day by day.  To learn more, see article #2 at SoulProof.com.  Here are five action steps . . .

•    Attend local and online Helping Parents Heal meetings

•    Contact The Caring Listeners to talk with at no charge

•    Read free articles at SoulProof.com and take relevant action steps

•    Listen to free Radio Shows at SoulProof.com and experts' answers to life’s toughest questions including “Why do children die?”

•    Lean on others as needed.  Later, when you are doing better, you can help others.

Q:  I have gone over and over in my mind about what my wife and I could have done differently to prevent our son's passing.  At times, I fear that I will lose my mind!  We appreciate any words of wisdom that might help.

A: I chose your question because it reflects how many parents feel.  Repetitive thoughts of 'we should have done something or seen it coming' can destroy your health, relationships, and much more.  Please seek professional counseling and other assistance immediately if your thoughts include abusing alcohol, drugs, and/or other self-destructive actions including suicide.

Kudos for reaching out for help on this.  Here's what I recommend . . .

1. Read the articles listed with the six keys above.  Those provide foundational understandings that you need to thoroughly understand to survive these tough times.

2. Take action steps on the bulleted points, especially attending HPH meetings and using the wonderful free services of The Caring Listeners.

3. Consider the possibility that neither you two nor your son is as limited as your human senses report.  Good evidence suggests that your life force / energy / soul may actually manifest in more than one place at the same time.  As such, you and your son may actually be together in a different slice of life!  You three could be looking down at your current struggles and cheering you on to find and share the silver linings.  To learn more, see article #75 Multilocation / Parallel Realities / Simultaneous Experiences.

4. Learn more about pre-birth planning.  This may initially seem strange but good clinical evidence for this possibility comes from many Life Between Lives sessions, Near-Death Experiencers, and firsthand experiences under hypnosis.  The model of pre-birth planning has helped many people realize there is a timing and meaning to life events.  (It also lets poor God off the hook since She didn't cause your son's body to die.)

In this view, you, your wife, and son – each timeless beings of consciousness who are inseparably interconnected and one with Source – may have chosen the potential that he would change worlds at a young age.  WHY?  For the immense opportunities for growth, service, love, compassion, and other eternal benefits.  Also because, as the title of this Q & A states, he was likely an evolved soul who didn't need to go through all the earth-school courses.  To learn more, see article #25 Pre-Birth Planning: Did I REALLY Choose All This?!

I hope this decreases your self-flagellation and increases your hope and peace.  Start with those recommendations for a few months and then let me know how you are doing.  I am always available to give brief, but information and resource-packed replies to my HPH family.

Hugs, love, and blessings as you heal, transform, and remember the big picture of life!
Mark

THE WISDOM OF GREGWritten by Susan Van Oije with Bill and Greg

Written by Susan Van Oije with Bill and Greg
Bill is just an ordinary guy who has had extraordinary things happen to him since the passing of his son Greg. Susan writes it all down. The Calgary, Canada affiliate leaders are on an amazing journey with their son.

THE LIGHT SHOW

Five days after our son Greg passed, Bill and I experienced something so amazing and miraculous that I will never be able to do it justice with the written word, but I'm going to try. We call it The Light Show, and it came at exactly the right time, because I was drowning in a sea of grief and guilt and regret, and my son threw me an astounding lifeline.

In those first few days after our 27-year-old son passed on September 7, 2014, Bill was starting his very unexpected journey of discovery that he could see and hear Greg. Me, I could see and hear nothing, but I believed with a very strong knowing that what Bill was experiencing was our beloved son. Bill described to me what he was seeing in our bedroom in the darkness. Two nights after Greg passed, Bill was woken from his sleep and Greg appeared as a bright yellow, green and purple glow in the outline of his body silhouetted in the shutters covering one of the windows in our bedroom, and for the next few nights Greg appeared to his Dad as a colorful glow there. Bill also heard Greg tell him to not shut down and to reach out to the love of his friends. On one of those early nights, Bill woke up and saw Greg as a big round ball of green light right above our bed. We held hands and Bill lifted our arms into Greg's light, and although I couldn't see the light, I trusted he was there. Bill heard Greg say that everything was going to be all right.

All of this was amazing, but again, I could see and hear none of it, and after five days of very little sleep, I was desperate. I got out of bed at about 2 a.m. because I wasn't able to sleep and I didn't want to disturb Bill. He had had a heart attack nine weeks before Greg passed, and I knew he needed to rest, so I crossed the upstairs landing to try to sleep - or rather, toss and turn - in Greg's old bedroom. I lay there and my mind was racing. The hours passed. Had I selected the best photo for his obituary? What happened when I had last seen him? Why didn't I know that he had relapsed with his drug addiction?

I prayed and I talked to him in my head: "Help me Gregory. Help me. I need to know that you're okay. I know your Dad can see you but I need to see you. I'm so sorry, Greg. I'm so terribly sad." After I finished talking to him, I thought how ironic it was that I was asking Greg to help me, because I had said thousands of prayers in years past and they all started with "Dear God, help our Gregory." And now, I'm asking Greg to help me.

It was now 5:15 a.m., still dark outside, and as I lay there, I realized I could no longer hear the fan running in our bedroom where Bill was. I got up and turned on the overhead light in Greg's old room thinking the power was out again (the night after Greg passed, our city had an early snowstorm that caused massive power outages). The light turned on, and I realized Bill had gotten up and closed our bedroom door and that's why I couldn't hear the fan. I decided to go back to my bedroom, and when I got there, Bill was coming out of the adjoining bathroom. I said to him, "I'm back here. Have you seen Greg again?" Bill replied, "No, I've been too tired to see him."

I heard Bill go right to sleep and I lay there for five minutes, resigned to my inability to pass out. Suddenly, Bill was jolted awake and grabbed my leg but didn't say anything. I thought he was reaching out to comfort me so I could go to sleep. Then he said, "He's here Sue!"

I quickly sat up in bed and we looked towards the window in our bedroom where Greg had appeared as an aura of beautiful colors to his Dad over the past few days. I strained to see Greg's glow, but nothing. Then suddenly, I saw him.

Let me make clear that it was pitch black outside and our bedroom was in complete darkness with all the shutters closed, and our house backs onto a park with no lights of any kind. I watched in open-mouthed amazement as Greg's Light Show unfolded. It was contained in an area about 18 inches across and 14 inches deep within the top third of the closed shutters that cover the window where Bill had seen Greg before. But this was not an aura or glow like Bill had seen.

White-yellow light in six lines, stacked on top of each other, suddenly started to stream across the shutters. There were two lines of Xs and two lines of Os, and two lines of what looked like the outline of eyes. The lines flowed from left to right for about 10 seconds, and as the movement of the Xs and Os and eyes sped up, the light suddenly became bigger and exploded soundlessly like a firework. The exploding light then moved slowly from left to right in an undulating wave, and disappeared on the far right side of the shutters.

Bill and I just lay there, unable to speak. We saw The Light Show, together, which we later learned is very rare. Greg knew I needed to see him too, and he pulled out all the stops. He woke up his Dad to make sure I saw him in all his glory. After Bill and I talked about what we had just seen, and I wrote it all down, I fell into a deep sleep. Finally.

In the next few months, we talked a lot about what we saw, and while the Xs and Os were self-explanatory, we were stumped by the meaning of the eyes. Finally, a few months later, our very patient son explained it to his Dad in a dream. Greg showed his Dad a black outline of an eye, and then these words appeared in black capital letters, and each time a line of text appeared and Bill read it in his dream, that line would disappear and the next line of text would show up. Here's what Greg showed his Dad:

EYE
I SEE YOU
I SEE EVERYTHING

Spreading Sunshine by LeAnn Hull

The Holiday Season
Welcome to Fall time and the season of Holidays. This was always one of my favorite times of the year with all its’ magic and joy. I loved all the beautiful and bright decorations as well as the many family gatherings occurring over the next three months. Cooler weather ushered in the leaves turning colors of orange and red, and evenings spent out around the firepit all bundled up in blankets and sweaters. And then my Andy moved to Heaven on December 11th and changed everything…. At least for a time.

No doubt many of you are wondering or possibly even dreading the upcoming Holidays. Regardless of whether your child moved to Heaven during this time of year, it can be hard to navigate your way through. Some of you might be thinking about just skipping the next three months figuratively speaking. Are you wondering if it is even possible for you to celebrate and be joyful again? Does it send a mixed message to friends and family about your loss and grief? How can you reconcile something so tragic with a time of year that’s so joyous?

Lots of questions and so many emotions going on in you all at the same time. It can certainly be conflicting and add to the stress of the Season. I too felt and wondered all these things after Andy moved to Heaven. How would we ever be able to put the pieces of our lives together again and enjoy, let alone be joyous? But, just like this time of year and the Holiday season, there also is a season for your grief…..if you choose. Yes, it will look different than what you had envisioned, but what in life doesn’t change with time?

What I learned over the last, almost ten years, is that miracles are just waiting for you to believe in them. And, most importantly, you must believe before they can become possible. Some of you may thing that I am cray cray. I actually had a mom tell me that recently, so it’s not a newsflash that you might be thinking that.

I’m here to tell you that I felt the exact same way that you do if you think that I have lost my mind. There wasn’t anyway possible that I would celebrate the Holidays again in the same way that I had before Andy moved. No way, no how!

And yet, I and chomping at the bit to start decorating the house with Holiday decorations. The fire pit is stacked with wood and the blankets are unpacked and piled in a basket. I even pulled out the sweaters just in case it drops below 90 degrees. Well, I do live in Arizona and 90 degrees is a cold snap.   Maybe I am jumping the gun, just a bit, but I just love this time of year.

How did I get to this state of being you wonder? First, I knew that I didn’t want to be sad for the rest of my life. Second, and most important, is that I wanted to celebrate for Andy. I wanted to include him in everything that I did. He loved decorating the tree almost as much as me, so every year I make it the best that I can to honor him. I also buy a special ornament for him as well as a special little gift to put under the tree. While those things may have made me emotional in the beginning, they now bring me joy and excitement. I look forward to finding that perfect ornament and gift.

Whatever your traditions were “before”, you can make them special once again with belief and wonder. I hope that you will find the magic in this season just like I have.

NEW LEADER - HPH Parents of Children Who Passed of Substance Use
Lisa Arnold

Please join us in welcoming the newest addition to our Affiliate Leader team, Lisa Arnold! We have had so many parents requesting to have a dedicated HPH group for Substance Use and I wanted to let you know that Lisa Arnold, a Helping Parents Heal Caring Listener, will be taking over the role and the FB group. Lisa is truly wonderful and she was at the Second Helping Parents Heal Conference. Hopefully you were able to meet her.

Lisa's Bio:
My ever present spiritual journey became most evident when my middle son, my free spirited child named Derek, transitioned at 20 years old from an accidental overdose in September 2020. I was immediately on a quest to find like minded individuals that could support me on this unchartered journey to further connect to my boy. Helping Parents Heal became that life line. My husband, Jim, and I have 3 boys, Devin, Derek, and Dylan. Our 3Ds. We fortunately always believed life doesn’t end simply because the body does. Derry is included in our everyday lives just like his brothers. He has taught me so much from his perspective. Our children are always with us and I couldn’t feel more grateful.

Please join the group by clicking here: www.facebook.com/groups/hphsubstanceuse/

Andrea Courey

Every month, please join us for a Sound Healing Meditation with author and Shining Light Mom Andrea Courey! Award winning entrepreneur, author, lecturer and recipient of a McGill University Dobson Fellow, Andrea graduated from McGill University in 1982 and from the University of Victoria in 2018 with a Master’s in Education. Since Andrea’s near death experience in 1991, she has been practicing meditation and was introduced to Sound Meditation a decade later.

Andrea’s daughter Chloe passed into Spirit in 2016. Six weeks later, Andrea began a dialogue with Chloe after hearing Chloe’s words 'Mom, you are so easy to find it's a joke'. For five months they exchanged many conversations which became Andrea’s first book ‘Conversations with Chloe: A Mother and Daughter Dialogue Across the Veil’. Her second book, ‘Magical Thinking…not!’ is a collection of conversations with bereaved parents about their journeys of love and loss and the signs they receive from their children in spirit. Andrea is a sound healing practitioner helping people to reduce anxiety and experience deep peace. To receive her books as a free pdf and the zoom links to her sound sessions, write to acourey1212@gmail.com.  Andrea will be doing Sound Healing throughout the Conference.  Photos of our Children will be shown as she plays.  Please be sure to join her!

Shiome Healing Circle with Judith Hancox, MSW, LCSW, BCETS
Judith Hancox

Shiome Healing Circle with Judith A. Hancox on the 2nd Monday of each month on Zoom – September through May, 2 - 4:15 PM EST

Transforming disturbing memories to positive images/thoughts/feelings in the ‘magic circle’ is a protocol developed over decades of study and practice with significant mentors and healers - from Dr. Art Frankel, founder of the Gestalt Institute of NJ, to Grandma Mechi Garza, Indigenous American Cherokee Medicine Woman.  Shiome means ‘rip current,’ and the Shiome Shift is designed to transfer one’s disturbance to peace of mind within this 2-hour session.

There are four steps I employ to facilitate the process:
1) Creating a sacred space with Energy Correcting Meditations (ECM) combining the science of yoga and energy psychology with spiritual affirmations. Please click
here to learn more.
2) The “Flash Technique,” designed by Dr. Philip Manfield to desensitize traumatic memories with a positive engaging focus.  Please click
here to learn more.
3) Evolving Thought Field techniques to continue desensitization for the body/mind.  Please click
here to learn more.
4) The Shiome Shift in the medicine wheel to facilitate the transformational process for body, mind and spirit.  It includes a home healing practice.

Please contact Joyce McLaughlin, Registrar, at
tennfarm@comcast.net to fill out our paperwork and receive the link to the meeting. Registration closes on the Sunday before each Monday meeting. We hope to see you there!

Helping Parents Heal - Meditation Group
David, Davey and Allison Alison

Please join David and Allison Alison of the Helping Parents Heal Online Meditation Group, every third Wednesday of the month at 9 pm EST!  Allison and David are the parents of three amazing adult children: Jocelyn, Davey and Julia. Davey transitioned on July 20, 2016; he was involved in a solo car accident at the age of 24. This is documented along with their journey in David’s book Finding Davey. We felt Davey right away and knew he was not gone. We found out about HPH and it has helped us heal and connect with other patents. We enjoy talking about the signs we get from Davey and hearing about other parents’ experiences. Being a “Shining Light Parent” has helped us find meaning. Now with the HPH Meditation group, we would like to help others through positive energy and love with the help of our children on the other side.  Please click

We will go a step beyond other groups by allowing the open discussion of spiritual experiences and evidence for the Afterlife in a non-dogmatic way. In other words, we will welcome everyone regardless of their religious (or non-religious) background and allow for a very open type of dialog. We receive all and do not judge people or their children on the basis of life choices. -Mark Ireland, Cofounder, Helping Parents Heal
