Curator comments: I love the clean simplicity and minimalist beauty in this photo. It has a composition that is calming. I’ve recently moved to LA and there’s a few sections of the freeway overpasses I find mesmerizing. Usually these highway scenes depict a sprawling metropolis but this is a more minimal depiction of it with its singular curve. I also like the bright west coast light, and tall palm trees, a symbol of LA.
