Pardon My Cheesesteak
As we continue to improve operational efficiencies and drive guest satisfaction, we are making changes to the menu, effective September 28th.
MENU UPDATES
- New Items:
- Chicken Cheesesteak and Chipotle Chicken Cheesesteak will be added to the menu.
- You will not need to bring in any additional SKUs for either of these items.
- These new items will be built the same as the existing Cheesesteak and Chipotle Cheesesteak, only difference being a Chicken Philly Patty rather than Beef Philly Patty.
- Option to order additional sauces: In an effort to increase basket size, we are adding the option to order extra sauces on the side. Guests will have the option to order a side of extra Cheddar Cheese Sauce and Buffalo Sauce for an upcharge of $0.50. Reminder that this is NOT adding extra cheese sauce or adding buffalo to the cheesesteaks or fries, it’s giving the option to order additional sauce on the side.
- Removing:
- Sliced Hot Cherry Peppers will no longer be an option to add to the cheesesteaks.
- Please deplete current inventory and 86 this item if stock is depleted prior to 9/28. Please note, the Roasted Red Peppers and Sautéed Mushrooms will remain on the menu as add-on options.
PACKAGING UPDATES
- Sticker
- We will be transitioning to an updated menu item sticker. Thank you to those of you who already ordered the new stickers. For those that don’t have the new stickers in house please keep an eye out next week for the arrival of new stickers. Begin using immediately upon arrival.
- Sandwich Wrap
- We are transitioning to a thicker wrap spec for wrapping cheesesteaks. The thicker wrap will now only require 1 wrap per cheesesteak rather than 2, effectively reducing cost and complexity. Any orders placed through VDC On The Fly should be receiving the thicker wrap. If using the thinner wraps, continue to double wrap cheesesteak and deplete all current inventory. Once inventory is depleted, transition to the thicker wrap spec.

- New Training Module Section! This training module provides a fun and interactive training experience while learning how to execute Pardon My Cheesesteak. We encourage you to refresh your brand knowledge and experience the new interactive training.
- New Line Readiness Checklist! Utilize this checklist to ensure your line is set up with all the necessary items needed to execute the brand. Great resource to ensure you are set up for success!
- Updated Materials! New training materials available with the menu updates. Be sure to review the new Menu Training, Recipes, and Training Videos. Please discard existing materials and replace these items with the new materials
