SEPTEMBER NEWSLETTER

In October, we will have an opportunity to honor our patroness,
Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, on her feast day, October 7, with a recitation of a novena beginning on September 28th and ending on October 6th . Copies of the novena were handed out after masses this weekend. If you did not receive one, a few more copies will be made available on Tuesday. You can also follow along with daily posts on our Facebook page or by using
the email that was sent out through Mailchimp.

PRAY FOR AMERICA—HONOR OUR FREEDOM!
There has never been a greater need to pray for
our nation!
Join in praying the PATRIOTIC ROSARY
on Saturday, October 1st, after the 8 am First Saturday Mass.

Join us for First Friday Adoration on OCT. 7
Adoration will begin after First Friday Mass
and will conclude at noon
with Benediction beginning about 11:45.
The students will be on Fall Break, so we need at least two parishioners to fill each time slot; more are always welcome!

A sign-up sheet will be available in the Narthex this weekend, or you can sign up online HERE.
Be a part of the Living Rosary after the 11 am mass on October 9th.
The “Living Rosary” is an active celebration of the traditional rosary, where each bead is prayed aloud by a parishioner. You can volunteer to be a bead or just come and pray the rosary with us.
Make plans to attend our Office Open House and Ministry Fair after the Living Rosary on October 9.
We will be serving wine, cheese, and appetizers at stations throughout the office.
This is a great opportunity to see the renovations to our office space and learn about the ways you can get involved at Holy Rosary.
Room in the Inn is preparing for winter guests.
Gently used jeans, long sleeved tee shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, socks,
undershirts, shoes/boots, coats, gloves, winter hats, backpacks, etc. are requested. Cough drops, Qtips, toiletries, new socks, boxer briefs, undershirts and
long underwear bottoms are always needed.
Clean, used blankets and sleeping bags are also requested.
Donations can be left at the gym door marked RITI.
Thank you for your generosity!
Volunteer sign-up for Meal Coordinators, Cooks, Innkeepers, and Youth Aides will be after masses this weekend.
