Dear Member,

We cannot thank you enough for helping us celebrate 75 years of serving our communities. We say it all the time, we have THE BEST members. Nothing reminds us of that more than the natural ease of saying hello to you at a branch or while out and about in our communities.

In this month's member news, we thank you for supporting our schools with another successful supply drive, introduce some "fun" additions to youth savings accounts, feature our friend Kathy Love, who's been a member in Potsdam for 43 years and give you a reason to get your shred on in October.

Be well,

Russ Cronin
President & CEO

NEWS FROM YOUR CREDIT UNION
Supplies, Delivered
We already knew our members are the best. But you proved it, again, with your donations to our school supply drive. Thanks to you we were able to deliver everything from crayons to juice boxes to the Norwood-Norfolk, Saranac and the Tupper Lake Central School Districts. We filled a Ford F-150 with donations from the Tupper Lake branch alone! See Photos
Changes Coming to Fun Zone
Saving money is a great habit to get into—and one that our youth savings accounts encourage. Starting in October, we’ll be making some changes to our Fun Zone program that can help children aged 4-10 save even more. Every time they deposit at least $5 into their savings account, we’ll put one stamp on their Fun Zone card. For every 20 stamps they collect, we’ll contribute $5 into their account. Learn More.
Be Safe: Get Your Shred On
You’ve heard the saying: One person’s trash is another person’s treasure. Especially if you’re in the habit of throwing out credit card bills, pay stubs, old tax records and other documents that might contain sensitive information. To protect against identity theft, we're hosting a free shred day at our Tupper Lake branch on Friday, Oct. 14, from 9-11 a.m. Full Details.
Member Stories: Kathy Love
“If I find something I like, I stick with it,” says Kathy Love. That includes Adirondack Regional FCU, which she joined in 1979. That 43-year run makes her the longest-tenured member of our Potsdam branch. Kathy joined up for convenience: As a new staff member at SUNY Potsdam’s library, the credit union was just steps away from her workplace. Read Her Story.
