№195: Fall Midtown Walkabout this Saturday 🎃

FALL MIDTOWN WALKABOUT

Midtown Walkabout returns this upcoming Saturday, October 1, and will take place from 12-6pm. This bi-annual event will put you in the fall spirit with seasonal promotions and activities for those shopping, eating, and visiting the district.

Midtown merchants will provide specials, discounts, and activities during the event and attendees can also enjoy free pop-up programming such as art demonstrations, a caricaturist, a chalk artist, live music, a pop-up pumpkin patch, and much more as they explore the district. For additional programming and pop-up vendors, visit the Brown’s Bakery parking lot, located at 1100 N. Walker Ave.

Midtown Walkabout is also proud to announce its partnership with the Heritage Hills Historic Home Tour. This tour, which runs on October 1-2, is a self-guided walking tour that will take participants on a beautiful and historical adventure through several private homes within Heritage Hills neighborhood located just north of Midtown. Tickets for the tour can be purchased online at heritagehills.org.

AUTOMOBILE ALLEY'S ART OF BEER

Save the date and join us in Automobile Alley for the return of Art of Beer on Saturday, October 22 from 12-6pm at Campbell Art Park outside of Oklahoma Contemporary. The event is FREE and family-friendly.

Purchase beer from local Auto Alley breweries including Prairie Artisan Ales, Twisted Spike Brewing Company, Vanessa House Beer Co., and Skydance Brewing Co. Art programming will be provided by Oklahoma Contemporary and will feature a community mural wall, make and take art, and much more. OKLAHOMA REGATTA FESTIVAL

The 2022 Oklahoma Regatta Festival returns to Riversport OKC on the Oklahoma River for family fun and adventures all weekend long this Friday, September 30 through Sunday, October 2.

Established in 2004, the Oklahoma Regatta Festival takes place annually during the first weekend in October in the Boathouse District, downtown on the Oklahoma River. The three-day celebration of rowing, kayaking, dragon boating, whitewater rafting and family fun includes the Oklahoma City University Head of the Oklahoma race, OGE NightSprints, and a family festival featuring food trucks, fireworks, beer gardens, a front row seat for all the racing – and RIVERSPORT Adventures! HERITAGE HILLS HOME TOUR

The 2022 Heritage Hills Home Tour will take place this weekend, October 1-2 from 12-5pm and include an exclusive look at the Heritage Hills neighborhood including the city's best combination of historic architecture and high design during the annual Home Tour.

Purchase your tickets to attend the 19th Annual ARTonTAP at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art on Friday, October 7 from 7-10pm. At this annual block party bash, guests can enjoy more than 80 varieties of beer from 22 different breweries in front of the museum on Couch Drive.

Besides sampling a variety of beers from local breweries, event-goers will also be able to snack on light bites and dance to live music by HOOK.
