On September 19th, ECCF celebrated its 17th annual Autumn Social, and for the first time ever, combined the event with our Annual Meeting! If you were able to join us, we thank you for being there! If not, here are some of the key highlights from the evening....

2022 Leadership Award

There’s very little that the Vance family hasn't done for ECCF: As Society of Founders members, Roberta and Ken Vance’s financial support helped ECCF open its doors, and as members of the Legacy Society, they’ve ensured that their support will continue for years to come. Both Ken and his daughter Suzanne Ashley served on ECCF’s Board of Trustees and on various Committees. Roberta is a Founding Member of the Women’s Giving Circle and has issued grants through her Pass-through Fund. Their son Jason established the Ken Vance Foundation Fund. In 2019, Roberta and Ken became fund holders as well. Their unrestricted Roberta and Ken Vance Fund addresses the community’s greatest needs by supporting ECCF’s annual grant cycle.

Although Ken passed away in 2020, his family is carrying on his legacy of generosity. ECCF is proud to give the 2022 Leadership Award to the Vance family, and we’re immensely grateful for everything they’ve done for ECCF—and continue to do.

Board of Trustee Grants

Left to right: Sarah Stokes Herzog, Paul Peterson (LSS), Kim Bodeau, Julie Pangallo (Sculpture Tour), Denise Hajos (Child Advocacy Center), and John Satre accepting on behalf of Tim Pabich.

Each year, ECCF gives each outgoing board member a $1,000 grant to give to a nonprofit of their choice, as a way saying thanks for their dedication to ECCF. This year, our three outgoing trustees, Sarah Stokes Herzog, Kim Bodeau, and Tim Pabich, chose to give their grants to LSS Fostering the Future Fund, Sculpture Tour, and the Chippewa Valley Child Advocacy Center.

You Care. We Share.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors and sponsors for the 25th Anniversary Celebration, we were thrilled to be able to award an additional $20,000 in grants to local nonprofits at the event! Recipients are:
  • Big Brothers Big Sisters

Nonprofit Directory

ECCF has launched a new Nonprofit Directory that allows you to browse Eau Claire area nonprofits that have received ECCF grants or otherwise partnered with ECCF. You can click on a nonprofit to view its mission statement, contact information, and website. You can view the list either alphabetically or sorted by giving category. We hope you find this to be a valuable tool in learning about Eau Claire’s many wonderful nonprofits!
