Hi Parents,

Fall Break is coming up and that is our halfway point for this Fall season. I hope everyone is safe during their Fall Break, whether you are traveling, or hanging out here in Wilson County. Since soccer is a TEAM sport, please don't let this small pause in soccer reduce your participation in practices and games. It is so important that we stay committed to the team and work together to make this a great season for your child and the rest of the TEAM.

Our Oct 2 Nashville SC game is coming up this Sunday. We have over 150 participants that will be going to the game. It's going to be a great party!! For those who are going please check your emails for details about the tailgate. Your tickets have been sent to your account, make sure you accept your tickets.

Mt. Juliet Practice field construction is beginning next week. Everyone needs to use the parking lot across the street for the rest of the season. We hoped to lessen the impact of the construction during this Fall season, but we are constrained on the availability of our contractors. We know this disruption in your practice location will be hard, but we are very excited for the improvements that will be available in the Spring season! Please keep an eye on your children and DO NOT allow them to play in the construction areas.

Lastly, in December we will begin our selection for 2 of our Executive Board positions, Risk Management and my current position of President. I've really enjoyed my time as the president, it has been awesome to serve the community and you all. My family and I feel that it's time to pass on the President position to another person and allow the club to continue to grow with fresh ideas and direction. I want to thank the operations team, current and past board members, players, and all the parents for a great experience for me and my family. It's been a blessing and so much fun. Of course, I'll still be around coaching and helping, but I wish the best to the selection committee in finding the right person for the next stage in Wilson United!
