Pictured are Early Childhood Education students learning about Process-Oriented Art Activities. Students explored marble painting where they dipped marbles in paint and rolled them around in small boxes with paper on the bottom. Students developed eye-hand coordination, practiced problem-solving skills, and learned what happens when primary colors mix to make secondary colors.
This week in Criminal Justice all three sessions participated in a fingerprinting lab. They learned about fingerprints, where the data is stored and how fingerprints are collected. Students worked in partners and interviewed the "arrestee" to complete the form (group classroom photo) and then collect a set of fingerprints.
CNA students made posters to put up around KEC for World Suicide Awareness Day, which is every September 10th. “Creating hope through action” is the theme for the World Suicide Prevention Day. This theme is a reminder that there is an alternative to suicide and aims to inspire confidence and light in all of us.
Earlier in September, KEC’s Mass Communication program students learned the basics of photoshop and comparing free online resources versus adobe products. Students are using other student logo designs as practice digitizing ideas and learning about photoshop tools.
