Join the California State PTA Membership Services Commission for their upcoming office hours on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at 7pm. We’re meeting online, but encourage you to share (and enjoy) your favorite fall treat. Join us to recharge your Membership batteries to go out and get more members!

Include Everyone in Your PTA!

Invite Teachers to be PTA Members

Involving teachers and administrators is one of the best ways to strengthen communication between families and schools. More engaged fathers and father figures — whether living with or apart from their children — can help foster a child’s healthy physical, emotional, and social development. Keep Your Membership Drive Going

Whether you’re driving steadily or speeding towards your membership goals, California State PTA wants to encourage you to keep your drive going. When you keep your membership goals aligned to our upcoming Membership Drive deadlines, your PTA will get extra recognition. Learn more through the new leaders website and see the upcoming deadlines. There is still time for the 2nd and 3rd Challenges:

2. 100 in 100

All PTA units that forward a minimum of 100 members through channels on or before the 100th day of the 2022-2023 PTA term will receive a certificate and a badge ribbon at the convention. No application is required. Due Date: 10/9/22.

3. Ready, Set, Remit

All PTA units that forward a minimum of 30 members through channels on or before the deadline will receive a certificate celebrating their success and will be recognized on California State PTA social media platforms. No application is required. Due Date: 10/31/22.

Program Grants for PTAs!

Is your PTA researching a new outreach program, or perhaps expanding on current success? Available to unit, council and district PTAs in good standing, these unique annual grants from California State PTA are geared to support local PTAs in developing programs and projects that address four areas of major interest to our children, schools and members; Parent Education, Cultural Arts, Outreach Translation, and Healthy Lifestyles. Students - do you have a great idea for the 2024-2025 Reflections Theme Search that will inspire future young artists to create original works?

Share it! Entries are being sought in California now through November 1st. California theme idea winners will be forwarded to National PTA for consideration.
