Read about physical and cognitive ergonomics and how it relates to cybersecurity management in our Cyber-Physical Industry course.   

Cyber-Physical Industry is an intermediate course that is appropriate for undergraduate and graduate level students. This course will familiarize students with the terms, definitions, and architecture of Industrial Control Systems from the joint perspectives of quality management and cybersecurity.

This course is broken into four modules:

REVIEW THE CYBER-PHYSICAL INDUSTRY COURSE

Do your students enjoy competing in CTF or cyber defense contests? Now they have another chance to contribute by developing their own cyber security hands-on exercises that will help undergraduate/graduates prepare to compete in cyber defense contests.

Any team of undergraduate or graduate students from any 2-year or 4-year college that is a member of one of the Commonwealth Cyber Initiative (CCI) nodes is eligible to participate.

This is a collaborative project of Radford University, Southwest Virginia Community College, Laurel Ridge Community College and Germanna Community College and a Commonwealth Cyber Initiative SWVA node funded initiative.

Registration is open for the NICE K12 Cybersecurity Education Conference - take advantage of early bird pricing until October 15!

THE national conference for K12 cybersecurity educators returns in-person on December 5-6 in St. Louis, Missouri. This year's student keynote features Virginia's own Arica Willis, a 2022 graduate of Spotsylvania High School.

The annual Department of Energy CyberForce Competition will be held as a hybrid competition this year on November 4-5, 2022.

Registration is now open for the 2022 CyberForce Competition® for both student teams and volunteers. The competition is open to participants 18+ attending an accredited U.S. higher education institution.

Registration will close September 30. Be sure to register today.
