On behalf of the National Service Organizing Committee, Thank you for choosing to take part in our service on Canada's second National Day of Truth and Reconciliation. We hope that you found the service an appropriate space in which to learn, remember, lament, and hope - in our Lord Jesus, who is the hope of all the nations. When you do these things, you embody that better way forward.

Finally, we leave you with these words from Jonathan Maracle, one of our musical guests.
"The visitors (settlers) who have come to Turtle Island (North America) are now finding themselves in a place of accountability for the atrocities against the Indigenous peoples of the land. So far, I have seen many repentant people who really want to see real change and walk out a new relationship with First Nations people.

We, as Indigenous people, are in a place that I would call a new beginning. Finally, after all of these years, we can begin to truly have hope, healing and prosperity for our families & communities. This is a time to follow the spirit and seek change, to do what is right before our Creator with forgiveness on our lips and in our hearts. This will build a true pathway to the healing that is so desperately needed across this land. Now is the Time for us to act and see the change we've longed for."
