We all know the 24 hour news cycle is bad for our mental health, but now we have evidence that being glued to the news is bad for your physical health too. The anxiety caused by the news can lead to addiction to the news, and the anxiety addiction can cause everything from fatigue to gastrointestinal distress. And it's not just a few people of: those who had severely problematic addiction to the news, 75% showed these signs of ill-being compared to just 8% of those who were not addicted. So the next time you're at the gym, do your body a favor and ask them to turn their TV's to something more fun.
Starting November 1, all session prices will go up $10.00. This will affect the total cost of packages as well, although the amount saved by purchasing in bulk will be the same. Buying packages before that point will help delay your cost until they run out. (1 per person please.)
Bad News: CDC Director reluctant to agree that pandemic is over, but has confidence in the bivalent vaccine to protect us

Please read over the safety requirements below. A refusal to participate in these at the time of your appointment will be considered a no-show session and you will be charged 50% no show fee.
We are taking clients who are fully vaccinated, as well as medical referrals from other health practitioners.

We are seeing clients in a very limited capacity.
You will be expected to comply with these new requirements for all sessions:

  • Limited sessions,

  • Longer times between sessions to allow cleaning and air circulation,

  • New health checks before each appointment:

  • pulse oximeters to check for "silent hypoxia" (no appointments if under 90% SpO2)

  • thermometers (no appointments if over 100 F)

  • Masks required for BOTH client and therapist. Yes, this means you. We recommend against masks with vents, both for therapist safety (they let air out, defeating the purpose of a mask in close quarters) and for comfort in face down situations.

  • Pre session questions regarding risk factors (for your health and safety)

  • Pre session questions regarding risk behaviors like masks and self quarantine (for therapists' health and safety)
