Dear friends, family and faithful prayers,

     “Be all there” perfectly describes the 10 days we spent in Kansas City, in travel, and in Amman Jordan. The All Nations “Further Together” fundraising banquet was an amazing testimony of how the Lord is using so many to go and reach the least, the last and the lost. It was such an encouragement to us. We enjoyed our visit with our hostess that night and hit the road early to drive to Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport. It was a long and sometimes harrowing drive (through heavy rain-for about ½ an hour) but we made great time and arrived well in advance of our flight.

     Turkish Air was very good to us both ways, with good food, decent movies and some rest as well. Even the two hour delay could have been worse. Istanbul airport is a pretty nice place to spend some extra time. And then we were there! The best way I can describe our visit with our friends in Jordan is “effortless”. We were so comfortable and at peace. Wonderful rest, great conversations, some sight-seeing, baby cuddling, helping, worshiping, exercise classes, an Arabic class (photo above at the top!) and just doing life together. Honestly, it was one of the most stress-free six days I have had in a long time. It was an amazing privilege to walk with these dedicated workers who are living out their call to the nations.

     Thank you to all who prayed for us, for our friends and for this visit. Being a part of their world for even a little while will be so helpful as we continue in our roles of encouragement and pastoral care. We are blessed to be a part of the Great Commission in this way. Please continue to pray as we look forward to many more hours of signal calls and messaging with our friends there in Jordan and the others around the world that we have the honor of walking beside.

Just let us know.  In the days ahead is a Missions Conference in Cedar Falls where we will help in the teaching.  Pray we have the right words to convey the call to the nations, as well as opportunity to share what pastoral care looks like as a ministry.  Also ahead are an election on November 8 - check out Brett's website - it's going well and he has a solid shot to win this!  We have a week planned in December to visit Southern California - please reach out if we can get together while out there!



     Our ministry is keeping workers on the field, helping them thrive and be effective, and seeing fruit as many more come to the father because of these.  Pastoral Care is walking alongside, confidential times, prayer, listening together to the Father, and even field visits.  Your financial support of us is multiplied on five continents right now.
