WHY SLOW FOOD?
From its founding in 1989, Slow food has always rallied behind the principles of Good, Clean and Fair Food For All. We know that food brings connection and delight, but also that good food should be a basic human right for all people. We acknowledge inequitable food systems and policies and are working to build a better, more inclusive food system, and we celebrate the joy inherent in sharing food and meals with one another.
