Sermon on the Mount

Our Father in Heaven

The Lord’s Prayer begins with these words: “Our Father in Heaven.” In many ways, these words have become commonplace for Christians all over the world, but they are anything but common. They are a radical declaration of the authority, goodness, and grace of God. Join us this Sunday as we consider the first petition of the Lord’s Prayer and discover what it means to see God as our Father.

Invite friends and family to worship in-person with us at 8:00 (Chapel), 9:30 or 11:00 a.m. or online at pcpc.org/live/, the PCPC App with an iOS or Android device, Facebook, or YouTube.

Pray then like this:
“Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name.
Your Kingdom come, Your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil."

Faith & Culture: Discovering How Science Points to God

Sunday, September 18
6:00 p.m.
PCPC Sanctuary

Our culture tells us that scientific evidence and faith in God are at odds, and this assumption can often cause doubt in our own hearts or anxiety over sharing our faith with others. During this special evening lecture, philosopher of science Dr. Stephen Meyer will encourage us with a series of revolutionary scientific discoveries in astronomy, physics, and biology that point to the reality of God.

2022 Fall Guide

This fall, we are going to focus in on prayer which is an essential path to abiding in Christ. Our sermon series will focus on “The Lord’s Prayer” found in Matthew 6. The Men’s and Women’s Bible’s Studies will give a weekday opportunity to connect with one another to study God’s Word on prayer. We will kick it off with All-Church Prayer on Sunday, September 11. Pick up a 2022 Fall Guide in the Grand Hall or download a copy here.
