Join us for worship on Sunday at 10 AM!

Worship This Week:

As the Saying Goes Sermon Series
Part Two: "The Writing on the Wall" - Daniel 5

This month, the Power of One offering
will benefit the Trustees' parking lot repair project.

Blessing of the Animals

Bring your furry, feathery, or four-legged friends to church for a special pet blessing! On Sunday October 2 at 12:15 PM, join us outside (in front of the main doors) for a brief "Blessing of the Animals" service. We'll offer your beloved pet some prayers of blessing... as well as some delicious treats! Help pass on the blessing by bringing a donation of pet food or pet supplies to benefit the Animal Food Bank of the Lehigh Valley.

Celebrated each year near the Feast of St. Francis (the patron saint of animals, according to some Christian traditions), the Blessing of the Animals provides the opportunity to ask God's blessing over the pets who are truly part of our families. For more information, please contact the pastor.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

The Prayer Shawl Ministry is back! This ministry provides another way for us to gather at a table, and share our craft and faith with each other and with others. Stop by our table at the pancake breakfast (September 18), pick up some yarn, and help us determine where, when, and how often to gather.

Already have some yarn? We are currently in need of prayer shawls for adults!

For more info, contact Karen Rose (610-657-5440) or Sarah Campbell

Charge Conference - Save the Date

Our annual charge conference -- the annual business and ministry celebration meeting with the District Superintendent -- will take place in our Wesley Church sanctuary on Sunday October 2 at 1:00 PM. This will be a group charge conference, and we will welcome United Methodists from other local churches on this day. All are invited to attend, and those who are formal members of the church (including youth who have recently been confirmed) are permitted to vote.

Youth Group: Wet Fest TOMORROW!

We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow, Saturday, September 17, for Wet Fest! The even will run from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the church. For more info, please contact Brian (Wesley's Youth Leader). Thanks for your understanding, and see you at Wet Fest!

Pancake Breakfast This Sunday

Join us this Sunday September 18 for our first day of Sunday School and annual pancake breakfast. We'll begin serving breakfast at 8:30 AM in the Fellowship Hall. RSVP here for pancakes!

Installation Service for DS Lee

It's our privilege to host the installation service of our new North District Superintendent, Rev. Hun Ju Lee! Join us on Sunday September 18 at 7:00 PM in our church sanctuary for an evening of worship and celebration as we welcome our new DS to the North District.

Grief Group - Begins October 6

Are you or a loved one journeying through a season of grief? We invite you to join us for an eight-week grief workshop and support group, facilitated by Bill Arnold. Inspired by the words of Psalm 23, the program -- "Unless I Walk Through" -- will aid you in your walk through grief. The group will be offered as a hybrid experience, with opportunities to participate in person or online.

The group will gather in the church library on Thursday evenings, 6:30-8:00 PM, beginning October 6.

A fee of $45 per person will cover the cost of materials, and scholarships are available upon request. To register, contact Bill at 601-217-1070, or visit the Solace Counseling website

Church-Wide "Fall Cleanup Day"

Mark your calendars and join us as we spruce up God's house (and the surrounding grounds) during our Fall Cleanup Day. This year, the cleanup day will take place on Sunday September 25. Our Trustees invite you to join them immediately after worship for a picnic lunch (hot dogs and beverages provided) before turning to various indoor and outdoor building tasks. Many hands make light work -- and that work makes a huge difference!

For more information, or to sign up, please contact the church office

Men's Fellowship Breakfast

The next Men's Fellowship Breakfast will take place on Saturday September 17. Breakfast will begin at 7:30 AM, and the meeting with begin at 8:00 AM. For more information on the men's ministry, please contact Rich Chambers
