I. Post Traumatic Headaches (PTH) following TBI/concussion?!
- thank you Nancy, Luz!

1. PTH is a common symptom following TBI (mild to severe)

2. Risk factors include = insomnia, other body pain, vertigo, and older age

3. PTH significantly reduces quality of life and Return to Work rates

4. Females may be at higher risk for persistent postconcussion symptoms

5. How to treat??! Acetaminophen, NSAIDs, tricyclic antidepressants, or topiramate (Hasson, 2021). If these do not work, talk to your physician about treating chronic PTH with
PERIPHERAL NERVE BLOCKS (download the scientific recommendations/article below to bring into your doctor!)
