We are so excited to celebrate our competitive graduating seniors who have persevered through all the challenges and demands of their high school’s strenuous scholastic and demanding requirements, while successfully balancing the commitments of the Competitive FOCUS Dance Program. Please enjoy this three-part series where we highlight our three graduating Company Seniors to share a glimpse into the amazing people they are and will continue to be as they pursue this next amazing chapter in their lives.
Erica Yee. Erica started dancing at age 6 & joined us at FOCUS at age 15 🥺

“Duo rehearsal with Sophia running the dance for the first time without masks & not being able to get past the first 4 counts without bursting into laughter; recreating Niko & Kalea’s duo with Sophia; Nihar creating “slay” names for everyone & us singing all the combo songs with Shannon” 😻

Our gorgeous Erica is wise beyond her years, hilarious, impressive, selfless, dedicated, & fun — she has been such a positive role model to her fellow dancers during her time here at FOCUS. We are so proud of her & will miss her very much. WE LOVE YOU ERICA 💕

Start Your Competing Journey at FOCUS!
Hi Future FOCUS Fam!
Here's an opportunity for your young dancer (4-6) to start their competing journey here at FOCUS!
Competition Starter Program (CSP) will allow your littles to dip their toes into
the competition world, giving them a chance to compete, perform and train
under our wonderful faculty team!
Here are a few things to know once they are assessed and accepted into
FOCUS’s Competition Starter Program (CSP).
Their Weekly Class Schedule will include ALL the below:
Monday 5:30 - 6:30 PM
CSP Ballet with Miss Terre
Tuesday 4:30 - 5:30 PM
CSP Stretch, Strength, and Technique with Miss Kimberly
Tuesday 5:30 - 6:30 PM
CSP Combo + Performance with Mr. Robert
Wednesday 3:30 - 4:30 PM
CSP Hip Hop + Choreography with Mr. Chris and Miss Maria
Afterwards, we then will launch the above weekly classes
starting the week of September 19th
*The CSP students will go to two competitions, one in May and one in July,
where they will get to compete and be with our FOCUS Company Dancers!
They will also perform in two FOCUS Concert Series, one in May and one in July.
We hope you consider joining our new CSP Season as we look forward to seeing how your child grows in their love of dance and performing!

FOCUS Celebrates Festival of Children
at South Coast Plaza
FOCUS Dance Center was honored to be invited to participate once again in this wonderful event that celebrates and supports children and children’s non-profits and charities. We are grateful to be able to share the amazing accomplishments of the children who take dance at FOCUS.
