This Sunday, we will gather for our worship service in Brown Chapel at 10:30am. In addition, Sunday School classes for kids, teens, and adults will take place at 9am.

Mark your calendars for the return of our annual Chili Cook-Off & Pie/Cake Auction, happening after church on Sunday, October 16th in the Family Life Center!
Right after our worship service, we'll head over to the FLC to enjoy lunch, taste chilis, and bid on homemade pies & cakes baked by members of our church community, all with the goal to raise money for our Kids & Teens Camp Scholarship Fund!
It's the most fun — and delicious — fundraiser of the year!

We also have numerous volunteer roles that need to be filled in order to help this event run smoothly, including help with set-up the day before (Oct. 15). If you'd like to help out, please contact tyler@sdfcnaz.com

All ladies are invited to the Fall Day Retreat hosted by our Women's Ministry team on Saturday, October 15th from 10am-1pm in the Ellipse Chapel. Bring a brunch dish to share, and join us as we eat, fellowship, craft & pray together.

If you are a vocalist, musician, sound/media tech OR someone that would like to get involved volunteering with our music & worship arts ministry, then join us for a casual hang-out happening from 6-8pm in the Ellipse Chapel on Tuesday, September 20th!
Dinner, beverages, and dessert will be provided.

If you love to sing, be sure to check out the following opportunities to be a part of our adult choir here at SDFC:
- Sanctuary Choir: This group of singers performs regularly as a part of our Sunday morning worship services, as well as our First Sundays Morningtide gatherings.
- Rehearsals: Wednesdays, 6:30pm in the Ellipse Chapel
- Joyful Sounds of Christmas Choir: These singers prepare throughout the fall for a special musical celebration service happening Sunday, December 4.
- Rehearsals: Wednesdays, 7:30pm in the Ellipse Chapel

We host open gym Pickleball Nights every other Thursday in the FLC from 6-8:30pm. Come to compete or learn how to play!

Also every other Thursday, come put your skills to the test and join us for a game of pick-up basketball starting at 7pm in the FLC!

- Patty Haley: Patty asks for prayers on behalf of her friend, Jonna, who has been diagnosed with uterine cancer. Please pray that she recovers well from treatment.
