September 2022
Next Meeting: Wednesday, 9/14/2022 , 7 PM at the Beehive.  All are welcome
It’s hard to believe that our first snowmobile meeting is this Wednesday! Here we go again! It seems like it was just yesterday when Matt and Da Boys were laying down white concrete trails and our Capital Campaign supporters kicked in to get us another groomer and drag.  All we need is Mother Nature to provide us with a little longer season...please! Until that happens, you need to come to our first meeting of the year.  Hear what is going on and have some fun.  For those who have expressed a desire to help us out, please join us and let us know what you can do.  Everyone doing their little part makes this all happen.
President's  Message

For me , volunteering is a way to give back and support your community. I have always enjoyed being able to do that, whether it's coaching hockey, helping out at the foodbank, or doing what I can for my local snowmobile club. I am so proud of the community connections our club made last year with our Ride In for Veterans, and establishment of the Sno-Bees scholarship given to a student at our local tech center.

You will notice a number of events and fundraisers listed in this newsletter. Things like this don't magically happen. They become a reality because of the dedicated and passionate people who step up and get it done. All of this is in addition to the core work we all do in order to provide riders with over 50 miles of trails to enjoy. Our volunteers are an amazing group of people, and I'm honored to work along side them.

If you're looking to make a difference in your community or just want to be part of our club, feel free reach out to me at president@snobees.com

2022 VAST Annual Meeting

The Sno-Bees were well represented at the VAST Annual Meeting held in Island Pond this year. It was a beautiful day. It was a nice bonus to have the event located on a VAST trail at the big field at EX24. Our club was well represented with 8 delegates. John Plante snapped some pics of the crew  (Greg 'Burger' Blake and myself seem to be the serious ones; everyone else is all smiles!)

Trail Support Signboard
Last season, we had over 50 sponsors on the signboard; but there is room for more! Soon, we will be contacting all past sponsors about renewing their space on the signboard.  Please contact us if you are interested in purchasing a space. The cost is $ 250 for a single 1’x2’ sign and $ 500 for a double 2’x2’ for the duration of the season.

Trails

I want to thank all our Official Sno Bees Trail Trustees as well as our Official Sno Bees Trail Trustee Helpers for their commitment last year. I cannot do what we do without your landowner contact, opening and closing our trails and having pride in what you do - Thank you!

Our Team will be working on our equipment to make sure that all is ready!  We will be taking delivery of our new 2023 Mogul Master Drag and will get this important addition to our fleet ready to go.

Please let me know if anyone has special skills to assist us.  We are always looking for help!

In closing, for those that are planning their estates now or in the future, please consider including Sno-Bees in the mix if you are looking to leave some of your assets for the community. Please mention this to your friends and family if they are in this process as well. If there are questions on how to do this, feel free to reach out to me. Thank you!
