When we put our recycling on the road, it is taken away. Where is away? In this presentation, we will learn where it all goes and what happens to it. Our presenter, Rachel Blake is the Sales Support Supervisor for Waste Management. Rachel developed this program while in her previous role as Recycling Education Representative for Nevada County focused on community outreach.

This presentation is for everyone who uses the waste streams to cultivate an understanding of the systems they rely on. This presentation will also spell out the "why" behind individual behavior when we sort our waste at the bins, especially as it relates to the greenhouse gas emission policy dictated by CalRecycle.
