Please find below a latest update from Westminster City Council regarding forthcoming road closures, travel, parking and waste collections:

Road closures will remain in place across Westminster throughout the weekend and until after the State Funeral of Her Majesty The Queen on Monday 19 September with disruption expected to continue into next week.

From 16:00 on Sunday 18 September further road closures will be introduced that will significantly impact the south of the borough and we would strongly advise drivers to avoid travelling by car during this period. We also expect high demand across all modes of public transport and would advise you to plan accordingly.

Additionally, for businesses within the pink closure area the council are asking:

"Please can businesses within the ceremonial area ensure that they do not present waste between the hours of 2000 on Sunday 18th September and 1700 on Monday 19th September as Veolia will not be able to carry out collections due to road closures."
