On October 2nd the Sunday morning service will focus on the theme of 'Why we worship through singing'. We are asking YOU, the congregation, if a few of you would be willing to share briefly that morning about a song we sing and why it is meaningful to you, or how it has helped you enter the presence of God. If you have an idea in advance, please let Carla Beirnes know (403.830.6931), so the worship team is prepared to sing the song you chose!

Needs of Our Church Family
- Alice Klassen that her body would not reject the transplant.
- Lachlan Toews, pray for him as he transitions into attending school part time that the stresses on his body will not be too great.
Praise
- Sidney Van Der Meer who is in hospital with a head injury after a vehicle accident. Sidney is awake and improving. Please continue to pray for full recovery.
- Ukrainian Pastor who was taken hostage by Russian soldiers is alive! Please continue to pray for his safety. details

This fall our Jr. High's will be meeting at the church for an in-service time of Bible Study. Please exit after the children's feature and meet in the boardroom.

Mom's Time Out - Details
Starting Sept. 28 @ 9:30 with coffee in the church basement. It will include the moms, kiddos and the childcare workers all together for the first few weeks as we get used to a new thing!

Quilting Ministry - Details
Quilters meet at the church on Wednesdays from 1-4 pm. Alternatively packages can be picked up to be worked on at home or work can be done individually at the church.

Stained Glass
Stained glass pieces will be available at the office during the week. First come first serve. Please bring something protective to carry your glass pieces home.
Our cost to have these crafted is $30ea. Payment can be made by e-transfer, cash or cheque to the church Stained Glass Special Project fund.
