Book of Condolence The Parish Church of Saint Lawrence, Brundish Following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II
on Thursday 8th September, the church, as always, will be open for private prayer.
A Book of Condolence will be found in front of you
near the font.
If you wish to light a candle of remembrance, we would ask you to use the votive candle stand which has been relocated to the back of the church.
If you wish to leave flowers, please provide your own vase and leave them at the foot of the font. Water is available outside in the receptacle to the right of the porch.
God save the King!
Brundish Harvest Festival Service
Reminder: The start time of this year's service has been brought forward to 4.30 p.m. on Sunday 2nd October at St Lawrence's. It's hoped that this will attract more families. Any food donations you wish to bring will go to a good cause. Tea/Coffee/Juice and cake will be available after the service. Please come along to this great yearly favourite in rural life. You will be most welcome.
Brundish Harvest Supper
We are hoping for a bumper turnout for this year's supper which takes place on 8th October at Brundish Village Hall, 7 for 7.30 p.m.
Tickets are £10 per person for a two course meal consisting of a casserole with seasonal vegetables, fruit pies and crumbles, a selection of cheeses and a glass of wine. Please bring your own wine for further consumption. There will be a vegetarian option which please let Sandra Apps know about when booking.
Please book your reservations, as soon as possible, by calling Sandra Apps on 01728 628607. Also, if you would like to help with the cooking, preparations or the decorating of the hall, please let Sandra know as early as you are able. It is always a lovely evening.
