extreme rarities, never here before - Eisenberg Mermaid, with 1946 Vogue advert - actually a Naiad, copying a Verdura fine jewelry pin from 1944, selling then (also in Vogue) for $4000... 1943 Corocraft Sterling Peacock, patented, never here, perched on a big triangular Amethyst, from the 'big stones' series described in WWD, including the better known Gazelle, and Elephant... magnificent 1941 floral pins - huge MB Boucher Bearded Iris, one of 4 variants seen here, this with stylish pave and topaz stripes; Trifari Philippe 1941 patented big and beautiful double Hyacinth, all-enamel leaves, all-pave flowers...
   
from the full colour pages of Harper's Bazaar, Feb 1946, superb Trifari Sterling Philippe spangled ruby choker and flower earrings, joining a necklace - bracelet - earrings set, in aqua, already on site... ultra rare, KTF characteristic emerald fruit salads, pair of dress clips, mid 1930s... fascinating 1949 Boucher 5 inch double pendant bowknot, based on a very similar (and expensive) sterling design (with new advert) a couple of years earlier... and another piece from McClelland Barclay's first 1938 collection, double pinecone sterling bracelet, matching the gold plated and enamelled pin of the same design...
   
patented, Trifari Sterling Philippe 1947 flaming torch, only second time here... fascinating and mysterious ?Mazer post sterling Eye - or mouth? - pin, pave and sapphire baguettes... excellent gold and pave Boucher 1963 sinuous elasticated no clasp wrist hugger bracelet... and the rarest mid 40s Jelly Belly Sterling Angelfish, never seen in books, here for the first time...
