Help us identify mobile and internet black spots

As a Shire situated on Melbourne’s urban and rural fringe, mobile phone reception and internet connection can be unreliable in parts of Nillumbik.

Council wants to work with the community and local businesses to identify the extent of the problem as we advocate to both the federal and state governments for improvements to service provider levels and infrastructure.

A new survey and interactive map launched on Participate Nillumbik invites residents, local businesses and visitors to share where they have experienced mobile phone and internet connectivity issues in the Shire.
Feedback closes on Sunday 30 October at 11.59pm

For those unable to access Participate Nillumbik, keep an eye out for hard-copy surveys which will be available shortly to complete at various locations in the Shire including the Civic Centre in Greensborough, Eltham Library, Hurstbridge Community Hub, Living & Learning Nillumbik at Panton Hill and Diamond Creek, the Wadambuk St Andrews Community Centre and the Smiths Gully General Store.
