Some days you just need to be inspired by somebody. Well, today is one of those days.

Nick Vujicic was born without arms or legs. If you think it’s hard to have your arm in a cast for eight weeks, just imagine what Nick had to deal with on a daily basis with no arms or legs!

Nick is a man of great faith. He refuses to be defined by his hardships. He wrote a book called Unstoppable, and on the cover is a picture of him surfing!

But get this. Nick keeps a pair of shoes in his closet. Why in the world would he do that? Nick explains: “I keep a pair of shoes in my closet because I believe in miracles.”*

In Matthew 19:26 Jesus says: “with God all things are possible.”

God may give Nick feet. He may not. But that doesn’t stop Nick from trusting God, and from trusting that God can do great things through him to his own glory.

Nick has inspired so many people, especially those dealing with significant adversity. He has given glory to God in the process.

What are you struggling with? Accept the truth of God’s actual power. Then ask God to work his power and goodness in your situation.

“I keep a pair of shoes in my closet because I believe in miracles.”

--"And lead us not into temptation. Would God lead us into temptation, so that we need to ask him not to?" This was a question I was asked at a Q and A Forum.  Click here to hear the response, or tune in to The Pulse Podcast with Matthew Ruttan wherever you enjoy podcasts.
