Church Weekend Away

The Church Weekend Away is this weekend! Arrival is from 6:30pm on Friday for those who have booked to stay at Dalesdown and those coming to the BBQ from 6:45pm ready to eat at 7pm. An email was sent out last week with more information about the weekend so please check your emails for that and if you have any other questions please contact Katherine.

Alpha Course
Wednesday 21st September, 7:30pm - 9pm

Today we are holding the second session of the Alpha course, entitled “Who is Jesus?”,
and we would like to ask the Church to continue to pray for this venture.
Would you pray:
1. Thanks to the Lord for the way the group were open and shared with each other last week.
2. That our guests, who attended the introduction to Alpha, return.
3. That the guests that were unable to attend the introduction, but have expressed an interest, will have the confidence to join us this week.
4. That we learn more about Jesus.

New Church Whatsapp Group
We now have a new church group chat on Whatsapp for all of you who wish to join and share scriptures, prayer requests or life events. The previous LCC Storrington group will now be a broadcast group managed by church staff to keep everyone informed about what is happening in the church and for any other church announcements or updates. CAP Money Course

We are running a CAP Money Course where anyone can review their spending, learn how to budget and the best ways to manage money. This is a three-session course which we will be running over a three-week period. For more information please contact Nick

Worship Group
Tuesday 27th September, 8pm - 10pm

For musicians and singers who were interested in being involved in the Worship Group on a Sunday morning. We will meet for a time of worship together, learn some worship songs collectively, draw closer to God, increase in our giftings, and grow as a team of people together.

Sparks Toddler Group (Weekly, term time) 10am - 11:30am
There will be lots of toys for the kids to play with, fun crafts, story & song time as well as a bouncy castle. Tea and coffee will be served to adults and a drink and snack for the toddlers. Entry is £1 per child and if it is your first time it is free!
Fireworks Kids Club and Wildfires Youth Club 7:00pm - 9pm
This week we will be meeting at Daleasdown for our church weekend away and will be doing games all evening with a BBQ.

Community Outreach Activities

In Stitches - Tuesdays, 1:30pm - 3pm
A fun, social group for people who like to stitch. Bring your own knitting, embroidery or another project. If you would like to learn we can teach you!
Bible Encounter - Wednesdays, 10am - 12pm
The group will meet to encourage, pray with one another and explore the Bible, expecting to encounter God through discussions. This is a great seeker-friendly group for those wanting to learn more about the bible.
Baby Club - Thursdays, 10am - 12pm (term time)
Family-focused coffee morning for expectant parents and parents with a new baby. Older siblings are welcome. Come along to this supportive group and connect with others in the community over a cup of tea or coffee.
High Tea - Thursdays (Last Thursday of each month), 2:30pm - 4pm
Come and experience High Tea at The Village Hub. Meet new friends, enjoy some great homemade delicacies while drinking a lovely cup of tea. £3 per head, please book a ticket from The Village Hub in advance.
Thursdays Together - Thursdays when we aren’t hosting High Tea, 2:30pm - 4pm
We would love to see you for a cuppa, come for a game or two, perhaps crafting, or just for a chat. You are very welcome to come along, invite a friend and join in.
Repair Cafe, Saturday 15th October (3rd Saturday of each month), 10am - 12pm
Don't throw away - fix it! Come along with any of your items that need mending.
