Our purpose simply put; loving God, serving others, doing no harm.

Hello Mt. Bethel,
     Jesus used a parable of a dishonest manager (Luke 16:1-13) and told us how to use our finances in this world for the Kingdom of God.
     In the scripture, the master commended his manager’s shrewd actions even though he did them for his own purpose. And, God wants us (the people of light) to follow the manager’s shrewd ways, because no matter what he did for his own benefit, he eventually gave grace to people who were in need; God wants us to live our life, not following the way of this world, but rather, showing our grace and generosity to others using our finances.
     God has given everything to you. Your job, family, wealth, health, friends, and even Jesus Christ; You and I are using God’s blessings in this world, and we’re stewards in this world. Once we know that everything what we have is from God, let us follow the manager’s shrewdness and share our grace and blessings with people who are in need and for the Kingdom of God. Amen.

The “Little White Church” in Inver Grove Heights hosted the telling of the Kochendorfer family. In the book “Malice Toward None,” by author Dan Munson. The story of the four surviving children orphaned by the Dakota War & how members of Old Salem cared for and adopted the children, helping them to not merely survive but to thrive.
