Winter is behind us and the days are getting longer. Yes, it's time for PenOC's annual Spring Series. If you haven't done these before, they are the perfect events for young and old, for newcomers and families. They're also great for experienced orienteers and to get the competitive juices flowing as winning margins are measured in seconds and not minutes.

So what's the Spring Series all about?

5 events
In parks and open areas around Cape Town.
Winning times of around 20 minutes
Trophies on prizes on the line for men, women and teams

This year's events take place as follows:

Sun 09 Oct (AM): Greenpoint Park
Sun 13 Oct (PM): Doordekraal Dam
Sun 06 Nov (AM): Keurboom Park
19/20 Nov: UCT
3/4 Dec: Observatory

Entries open roughly 2 weeks before each event when full details will be sent out. So dust off your running shoes and prepare for some fun ...

PenOC Log Standings

In addition to the Spring Series, we are keeping track of the PenOC Log which is made up of you best 7 events in the entire year. With the 5 Spring Series events still to go this year, and 4000 points up for grabs, there is plenty of time to move on up the rankings.

Penoc Membership 2022

2022 Club Membership is now open!!! Our membership runs for the calendar year and fees for 2022 are R200 (individual) / R300 (family - max 2 adults)

Why join Penoc as a club member?

You qualify for cheaper entry fees at events.
Social events (we hope that this year is going to be different...)
Eligibility to enter championship events.
