SEPTEMBER 2022 COMMUNIQUE

Mark your calendars! Our first GMM of the League Year will be held on Tuesday, September 27!

A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT : JACKIE MARTUCCI

Our Centennial Year has come to a close and another JLGS League Year is upon us! Our League produced some incredible events last year and spent more than 165 hours working in the community.

This year, we intend to turn our focus a bit more inward. We look forward to growing our membership, strengthening our relationships with each other and our community partners, and taking on meaningful projects with great community impact.

The women of the JLGS are incredible. We are leaders, business owners, attorneys, educators, executives, mothers, finance gurus, and much much more. I am thrilled to watch this small group expand and develop through another successful year. In particular, I am excited about us hosting more social gatherings and tackling our 2nd annual 5K in the spring!

Thank you all for your support, and cheers to another amazing year!

Community is looking forward to getting the 2022-2023 League year started! This year, we will be placing a strong emphasis on strengthening our relationships with our community partners, and we already have some amazing opportunities to give back underway.

To kick things off this year, we will be collecting the following items for 'Christina's House' at the September GMM: toilet paper, paper towels, free and clear laundry detergent, and size 5/6 diapers.

We will also be collecting the following items for the 'Ronald McDonald House' at both our September and October GMM: new toys for children 0-3 years and 14-22 years. These items will be given to the Ronald McDonald House in November for the holidays. (We're also collecting new books, pre-school to adult, for their respite room.)

There is so much more in the works that we can't wait to share, but for now, we look forward to seeing many of you at our first GMM!

Currently we are working on setting a date for a Board and Brush fundraiser, so stay tuned for a date coming soon!

Hello ladies of the JLGS! It is safe to say the 2022-2023 year is off to a great start. We recently hosted an extremely successful happy hour, where we were able to get to know some amazing women interested in joining our league! We are actively planning an Aerial Yoga night for October, and a 'Fall Social' for November. Sustainers and Actives, please be on the lookout for more information about our annual luncheon coming soon!

Hello ladies! Can you believe the 2022-2023 League year is already here?! We have some amazing volunteer and fundraising opportunities, as well as social events in the works for this year that we will be sharing very soon.

Please continue to share and like our JLGS posts whenever possible so that we may continue to support our community partners, and grow our membership for the future!
