The safety and well-being of our members is a top priority. As you know, we required all members and guests to wear a mask while inside any building on Bard's campus, effective September 1, 2022.  

At our meeting on September19th, Council revisited the masking requirement and discussed the current COVID virus situation.  
Based on the current evidence and the fact that Bard is a mask-friendly campus, Council has decided to lift the masking requirement and instead return to our prior position aligning with Bard's policy.  

Therefore, effective immediately and until further notice, LLI members and guests have the option to wear a mask at their discretion.  

We will continue to monitor the situation as we head into fall and winter.
