Hello friends and supporters of ArtSpace!
This past Saturday, 9/17, ArtSpace hosted "Inside Out", our first open studios event in three years. It was a lovely day with more than 35 artists, and hundreds of community members coming together to enjoy extraordinary artwork and each others' company. We were so happy to see many of you there!
The event was also the public launch of ArtSpace's 2022 capital campaign, "ArtSpace Re-Framed". We have an ambitious goal of raising $1.25 million, which is needed to complete necessary renovations so that we can reopen the entire building to our artists and the public. We've made excellent progress, raising close to $700,000 through grants, both federal and state, foundation gifts, private donations and corporate sponsorships. We're also pleased to announce that we've completed the first phase of renovations, enabling us to re-occupy our studios on the first floor, and have begun the second phase which we expect to complete this Fall.
We appreciate all of our supporters- individual donors, corporate sponsors, grantors and foundations. As a non-profit 501(c)(3), this support is essential for our success as an arts organization. We look forward to hosting art shows, artist talks, open studios, the annual holiday sale, and classes for all ages, once we are able to be in our building at 100% capacity. ArtSpace is about community and by making a generous contribution to ArtSpace Re-Framed, you can help ensure that ArtSpace is here to serve, to inspire, and to bring vibrancy to Maynard and the metro-west region for our next 20 years.
