My 12 New Fig Recipes

It's peak season!

Happy Monday, friend,

I hope you're enjoying the last few weeks of summer. My kids are back in school but I'm trying to keep the summer vibe going as long as possible with easy, breezy, light summer recipes.

This issue is all about:
  • Cooking with figs, both fresh and dried. I worked with California Figs this year, all focused around 12 new recipes that I created, which was so much fun! Figs are part of the Mediterranean diet and have such a history. While they are a favorite ingredient of restaurant chefs, I made all of the recipes simple and streamlined for you to make at home.
  • We shot a satellite media tour from my home, featuring my fig recipes. Check out my Instagram Stories "SMT-home" for the behind the scenes. There's a first for everything, right? It's amazing what we can do with technology these days, including shooting a high-quality SMT from my home kitchen. Here's one of the interviews that aired in Tampa. (An SMT is where you shoot about 20 TV interviews, along with some radio, in the span of just a few hours from one studio; the segments air all over the country.)
  • I created a new recipe for Fish Tacos using my Dash Dinners Taco Spice Kit. It's ready in just 20 minutes and gives you restaurant quality taste! Easy peasy and delicious.
Have a great week.

Michelle
