Welcome, McAlpine Eagles! The most important thing you can give your student this week is a positive attitude. Be an example of patience and kindness as we navigate this week. Our teachers and staff have poured a tremendous amount of time, knowledge, and love into making this year successful.
Here's what's happening at McAlpine this week!
Monday: First day of school! All grade levels begin with synchronous learning at 8:00am. (8am Zoom links can be found in your child's student Canvas account and/or in a teacher email.) You can access grade level schedule by clicking here.
Now - September 4th: Virtual Book fair! See below for details.
Our teachers are looking forward to "seeing" all of our Eagles for the 1st day of school tomorrow at 8am! If you have questions, big or small, please reach out! The staff, teachers, and PTO are all here to support you and your student to make this year terrific. If you have not joined the McAlpine PTO Facebook Group, please do so now! This is a great place to ask questions and see what questions other parents are asking.
Many families take a photo to commemorate this special milestone. As our year begins in such a unique way with remote learning, we still want to recognize this occasion and celebrate with our Eagle family.
