ONLINE MINISTRY

We had a great time this Sunday, worshipping virtually together with Gloucester Elim in the second of our two joint live online services. This Sunday, we return to our normal online live streamed services for more time worshipping and growing together in His Word as a community.

We stream a live online service every Sunday morning on YouTube and Facebook. You can interact with us during the service by leaving a comment but just know, that anything you post publicly could be seen by everyone. RIVERCAMP ONLINE

In two weeks time, on Sunday 30th August, we will be joining in with Rivercamp's online service as part of our Sunday worship. They will be streaming a service at 12 (midday) which will be available to watch on Elim Pentecostal's YouTube channel (youtube.com/ElimPentecostal) or Rivercamp's website (river-camp.co.uk/online)

We understand that over this summer season where things are seemingly a lot quieter, it can be a lot harder to feel connected as a church community. We'd really like to encourage you to stay in touch with us over this time.

9:30AM PRAYER MEETINGS & COMMUNITY COFFEE UPDATE

Thank you to everyone who has been coming along to both our 9:30am Prayer Meetings and our post-service Community Coffee sessions over Zoom. It's been a fantastic way to connect together on a Sunday in addition to our online live stream services.

These sessions will now be taking a break for the remainder of the summer. We'll be starting these sessions back again in September (details as to what this will look like will follow closer to the time).

Jessica and the team are back again with a brand new All Age Worship track to help you "Celebrate" in your times of family worship at home

The Foodbank has seen a dramatic rise in need over the last 5 months. We have been giving out over 750 parcels of food each month, which for the last while has been via delivery and it has been great to work alongside different organisations across Cheltenham.

There has been an incredible response both in people giving donations and volunteering their time for which we are so grateful.

ALPHA ONLINE

Our Alpha Online course is now complete! It has been a fantastic time with some great opportunities for participants to ask questions and discover more about what living a life of faith can look like.

During lockdown, church life has started to look a little bit different. We may not be able to meet together in person but we are still gathering virtually as a community - and not just on a Sunday! Here's a glimpse at what church life looks like for us right now...

Midweek Groups

Here at Cheltenham Elim, we have many opportunities for you to grow and get involved in the life of the church.

Here is a list of some of the mid-week groups you can get involved with and who to contact if you are interested in joining or finding out more. In this current season, we won't be meeting in person, but will still have care, and groups available through an online avenue called Zoom (download the app & contact the person listed so you can connect). Get connected to the most appropriate group for you:

Groups

GIVT
You can now give to us through your smartphone. Download the GIVT app, scan this QR code & give. It's simple, easy to use & effective in making sure we can continue to release ministry through this church.

REMINDER:
You may be in a position where you can help us. If you are not, we seek not to put any burden on you whatsoever. We do therefore have three ways you can help us:

1. Pray with us. Absolutely nothing will be as impactful as prayer in this season. Let us never lose sight of the hope we have in Jesus Christ.
2. Serve with us. You may be fit and healthy; in which case, in order to open more, we need more hands to help serve people in need. this could be through delivering to those in isolation, or helping us help those who are able to come to our site.
3. Give financially. We want to make sure our ministry and our foodbank work increases. This means we still need resourcing coming in. Would you consider giving via a standing order? If you don’t giftaid to us, please can we ask you to giftaid to us also. If you normally give by cash, can we ask you to put a cheque to us in the post instead?
