Our church's oldest member, Grace Scheetz,  died peacefully this morning one month short of her 106th birthday. Grace had been in hospice for 14 days, after suffering a stroke and had been living for several years with her daughter and son in law,  Sherry and Don Peters, outside of Pittsburgh. She was a longtime Pennington resident and a continuous member of our congregation. In Bradfordwoods where her daughter lived, she attended a local congregation and became active in its Bible study program........But she kept her membership here with our church and attended our services as often as possible in her early years of retirement when she visited her family in our Pennington-Hopewell community. Both of her sons, Dick and Fred Scheetz and their families, live in our area and we extend our prayers of love and sympathy to all of them.

Graveside services will be private in a cemetery in Rosemont, New Jersey at the convenience of the family. There will be a reception at a later date when the COVID epidemic has passed. Condolences can be sent locally to her two sons, or to her daughter at P.O. Box 122, Bradfordwoods, PA. 15015.

May we all in our hearts and head say a simple prayer of gratefulness for the long life of our sister in Christ, Grace Scheetz. We know she now is in the eternal arms of our loving God. Amen.
