NEW!! Low Altitude Walks & Hikes with Aaron
You know Aaron Gouw, Graduate Student Assistant for Senior Health & Wellness, from Silver Sneakers classes, potlucks, presentations, and just hanging out at the Senior Center being a wonderful human being.
Now - you can go for a low altitude hike with him!

These hikes are great for getting used to the altitude, experiencing the beautiful nature we have close-by to Gunnison, and socializing with others while maintaining safety.

First Low Altitude Hike:
Van Tuyl Trail - Thursday, August 20

All participants MUST:

Sign a Senior Center waiver.
Be symptom free.
Have a mask to wear and maintain social distance (6 to 10 feet) at all times.
Bring a bottle of water in a small daypack or belt carrier.

Further details will be sent upon receipt of your RSVP!
There will be bird-watching if interested and a side trip to the river. Walking will be easy, on flat, mostly level ground. This is a great beginning hike!!
Length is 3.2 miles.
