The equity implications of virtual tutoring during COVID-19
One-to-one tutoring is highly effective at boosting learning outcomes but, in its traditional format, remains the privilege of an affluent minority. As online learning is set to become part of the ‘new normal’ for schools, virtual tutoring systems are poised to level the playing field.
