Collaborative Lead Group

Members of a new Advisory Group are to be drawn from the larger Collaborative Lead Group. Of the nine, one representative must be from Shelter WA and another must have lived experience of homelessness.

Housing First Homelessness Initiative

The Housing First Homelessness Initiative addresses homelessness and rough sleeping by using a Housing First approach, where people are placed in housing as a first priority and then provided wrap-around support. The initiative will be delivered around regional and metropolitan Western Australia, including Bunbury, Geraldton and Rockingham/Mandurah.

All Paths Lead to a Home: Action Plan

Released to coincide with Homelessness Week the Department of Communities Homelessness Action Plan 2020-2025 is the first of two five-year plans.

Online Student Competition Winners

In April Slavin Architects in association with the Western Australian Alliance to End Homelessness launched a competition which saw students form teams of two to be resourceful and use their creativity to design a space to address our growing homelessness issues.

Ending Homelessness 101

Ending Homelessness is possible, this session will explain how communities around the world are demonstrating this and how communities in Australia are seeking to implement the Zero Homelessness Methodology though the Australian Alliance to End Homelessness Advance to Zero Campaign.
