The Book of Lists 2020-2021
is coming soon!

Up-to-date, accurate and useful business information!  Make sure your company is included.

Dear Partner,

In this most unique of years, even as the Hungarian economy begins what we all hope will be a fast and full recovery, we cannot help but draw the conclusion that somethings have not changed. There is, for example, just as strong a need for up-to-date, accurate and useful business information. Indeed, you could probably argue the need has never been greater.

Despite the difficulties posed by the COVID closedown, we have continued to produce the Budapest Business Journal uninterrupted, rounding up the news, reporting on how businesses have responded to the unprecedented mass working from home movement and, increasingly, how ramping-up strategies have replaced ramping-down work flows.

And while the day-to-day tasks required to produce Hungary’s leading biweekly business magazine continue, work has already begun on our annual BBJ Book of Lists publication, due out this fall.

As you would expect, the very special nature of the past few months will be reflected in some of the themes we will be covering in the Book of Lists 2020-21, including:

Business life during and post-COVID;
Ways in which the way we work may never be the same;
What companies did to stand out from their competitors;
What the future might hold, and how we can withstand other such crises;
Which are the best practices we can all learn from?

Of course, we are also continuing to develop what the book has been best known for in its almost 30-year history; its lists. Which are the leading companies in each sector, who are the largest employers, which firms are most profitable, who are their premier clients, and who are the key contacts?

Part of the recovery process includes ensuring visibility, and in that respect, the Book of Lists acts both as an unparalleled tool and a resource. Now, more than ever, is the time to make sure your company is included.

With best regards,

Robin Marshall
