Schedule Changes
If you have requested a schedule change, please be patient. The counselors are working on the requests. Please know if a schedule change is made, it could be a while before the new class is generated in Schoology. The Schoology platform updates periodically to reflect a student's schedule, but there could be a delay. Please be patient. If the updated course does not appear in Schoology after a few days, please contact your grade level counselor.

Since we are starting remotely this school year, all class fees, new computer usage fee, graduation fee, and parking fees, can be paid either on www.myschoolfees.com using a credit card or mailed to Grissom High school ( 1001 Haysland Rd Huntsville, Al 35802). If you are new to using My School Fees to pay by credit card, you will need to create a new account. Remember there is a 3.5 % fee attached to your payment.
All students are required to pay the $35 computer usage fee this year, there will be no exceptions. You may pay online at www.myschoolfees.com or by mailing your check to Grissom High School (1001 Haysland Rd Huntsville, Al 35802). By paying this fee early, you will be able to skip the payment line and go directly to picking up your new computer.
Still owe last year's fees (cafeteria, class, band, choir, dance, or computer fee)? These late fees can only be paid by check and mailed to Grissom High School (1001 Haysland Rd Huntsville, Al 35802). By paying these late fees now, you will be able to skip the payment line when your new computer comes in.

Sending transcripts to a college
Transcripts are one of the most important parts of any college application! Most colleges require the transcript to be sent directly from the high school. Once you have submitted a college application, you should request your official transcript through Naviance. See the attached information for instructions. Email sheri.crigger@hsv-k12.org if you need assistance with logging in to your Naviance account.

Grissom swim and dive will have tryouts on August 18th at 2:15 pm. Tryouts are at the Huntsville Aquatics Center. Athletes need to have a valid physical and come ready to swim because locker room will be closed.

BOE Approved: The HCS Board of Education approved a revised calendar for the 2020-2021 school year. The revised calendar follows ALSDE recommendations in pushing back the first day of school. Nov. 23-24, 2020 will be e-learning days.
