Reminder: Talking to Clients about Temporary COVID Changes Ending

The temporary waivers that have allowed WIC to operate remotely end on September 30. As we get closer to this date, it is important you continue to talk with clients about when remote services will end to help reduce clients’ feelings of surprise, frustration, or confusion.

WIC Breastfeeding Webinar on August 13

Join this week’s WIC breastfeeding webinar on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to gain information from Katie Halverstadt, BSN, RN, IBCLC with Saint Joseph Hospital. She'll address milk supply concerns and issues, including counseling skills, and techniques. The session is open to all staff interested, will be recorded, and will provide continuing education credits.
