We need your help immediately with another SPECIAL URGENT NEED: Emergency Food Assistance for the Elderly, Chronically Ill and Disabled.
In Haiti and Guatemala, these are some of the most severely impacted by hunger. Many rely on meager earnings from the informal economy and have no family support system. Without work or income due to COVID, they are facing dire circumstances.
Since May, HRI identified more than 100 vulnerable adults in extreme need of assistance. Thanks to your past support, we distributed monthly food baskets to many. But as community transmission of the virus continues, we urgently need your help to continue serving these most vulnerable members of society.
