Supporting St. Bede's Financially

A special thanks to all of you who’ve kept up with your annual pledge to St. Bede’s even as we continue to shelter at home.  Your gifts have enabled us to meet our payroll and overhead expenses, support our weekly Zoom Chapel services, and keep the essential work of the church going.  If you normally donated via the Sunday plate, please consider a financial gift to St. Bede’s this summer to help continue our work. Contributions can be made securely on our website, or by mailing a check to the church office.

Donating Goods to Our Nonprofit Partners

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, none of our nonprofit partners are accepting donations of used clothing or household goods right now — and so we are unable to collect those items at church. If you have been using your time at home to clean out your closets, please take your donations to the local Goodwill Donation Center at 46 Fifth Avenue in Redwood City (in the Chavez Market parking lot). Goodwill is offering no-contact donation drop-off Tuesdays through Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Thank you for your generosity.

Support Available from the "Warm Line"

Current services include COVID-19 support.

A Prayer for This Week

Holy One, we pray this week for the fires in our state, especially for those who are fighting the fires, and those who are being evacuated.  We ask for your protection for all those in the path of the fires.  We ask for your wisdom on how to best fight these fires.  And we ask for your guidance on how to best support everyone involved.  May your healing grace rain down on all those in peril.  In Jesus' name we pray.  Amen.
