Diplomacy and Race: A Black Canadian Diplomat in the Southern U.S.


Join us on August 25 at 11:00 a.m. MDT for the next Diversity in Diplomacy installment, Diplomacy and Race: A Black Canadian Diplomat in the Southern U.S. with Nadia Theodore, Consul General of Canada to the Southeastern United States. 

Moderated by Lois Harder, Professor of Political Science and the Principal of the Peter Lougheed Leadership College at the University of Alberta, Ms. Theodore will speak to issues of diplomacy and race as a Black Canadian diplomat in the Southern U.S.

The Diversity in Diplomacy series is jointly organized by the University of Alberta’s Intersections of Gender Signature Area, the Peter Lougheed Leadership College, and University of Alberta International.

The series is open to interested students, faculty, and the public. Registration is required.
